Chicken Adobo
Recipe Description:
Adobo is a classic Filipino dish known for its rich, savory, and slightly tangy flavor. It is made by simmering meat—typically chicken, pork, or a combination of both—in a marinade of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns. The dish is then slow-cooked until tender, allowing the flavors to blend beautifully. Adobo is widely loved for its simplicity, long shelf life, and deep umami taste. It is often served with steamed rice and can be customized with ingredients like coconut milk or potatoes for added richness.
